Michael is so often asked for copies of the poems that he has read at his talks, or read out on one of the many radio programmes that he now appears on, that he decided to put some of those poems together into this book called ‘Poems of Times Not Forgotten.’ The book contains 49 poems, some of which have appeared in one of his 6 books, others have been sent in to him from some of his many listeners.

The poems all tell a story of times long ago, but a time that is not yet forgotten, by Michael’s readers and listeners. Some of these poems tell a sad story and will bring back the sadness of the time, others will have you laughing as the memories come flooding back. Some tell a story of brave deeds carried out by ordinary men and women, others of children separated from parents at a very young age. Michael has even added a poem of his own to this collection.
